Kemer is a very quaint and traditionally Turkish town. Quite bustling these days especially on Fridays when a very popular market is held.  There is a good selection of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars together with Doctors, Banks, and a Post Office.  The Turkish authorities are making vast improvements to the local infrastructure and there is a plan to build a new hospital in the very near future.

Many ex-pats have found Kemer to be the perfect place to live all year around. They are drawn to the area by the warm winter sunshine and stunning mountain scenery.  Kemer is also quite well connected with Patara Beach 20 minutes away, Calis Beach resort 20 minutes drive, and the main town of Fethiye just 20 minutes away along the newly completed dual carriageway.

In the Agents opinion, with all the improvements to the infrastructure taking place such as new roads, block paved pavements, underground utilities and services, properties in and around Kemer will inevitably increase in value in years to come. This makes for a secure investment opportunity.  The other thing to consider is because Kemer is not regarded as a main holiday destination, the property prices reflect this.  We have found that properties are very good value in this area as they do not command the 'holiday home premium'.
